The agent's view this week
“Sales rose 4.8% this week, but one week is noise: over 90 days they are down only 10.9%, at 34,000 sales. Prices per square foot are flat over the same 90 days. The off-plan share fell from 71% to 63%, so the slowdown is in launches, not in ready homes. If I were buying now, I would start where prices have come off: Liwan (-18%), Palm Deira (-17%), Sama Al Jadaf (-13%). If I were selling, I would price to the last 90 days of sales, not to the asking prices around me.”
