The agent's view
“In Ajman, start from the registered figures, not the brochure. Pay off-plan money only into the project's escrow account.”

Buying, step by step

  1. Decide ready or off-plan. Ready homes trade on the register; off-plan homes are sold by the developer. Ajman has 40 new projects listed today, starting from AED 163,665.
  2. Check the numbers that exist. Ajman's DLRR publishes sales by tower. We hold 169 towers with 10 or more registered sales across 14 districts; each has its own page with sales by year and unit type.
  3. Check the developer and the escrow. For off-plan, ask for the project registration and the escrow account in the developer's name, and pay only into that account.
  4. Read the payment plan. Across 38 listed plans the median down payment is 10%.
  5. Use an agent, and know who they act for. 0 agencies advertise Ajman new projects on Property Finder. An agency advertising a project is a marketer; ask who it acts for and see its licence.
  6. Register the sale. The sale is final when it is registered with the Ajman Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation. Get the fees in writing first.
