How the ranking works
The ranking counts the sales registered in one calendar month. The building with the most sales is number 1.
- The month. We use the last complete calendar month in the sale records. This ranking uses September 2026.
- Position. A building with more sales in the month ranks higher. When two buildings have the same number, the higher total value ranks higher.
- Move. The move is the position in August 2026 minus the position in September 2026. ▲ 3 means the building is 3 places higher.
- NEW. This is the first month on the chart for the building since January 2025.
- BACK. The building was on the chart before, but not in August 2026.
- Months on the chart. This is the number of months with a sale since January 2025. Best position is the highest position in those months.
- Median AED per sq ft. Half of the sales were above this price and half were below. We show it only from 5 or more sales.
What we leave out
- Rows that the records mark as a bulk sale.
- Block deals. A block deal is 8 or more completed homes in one building registered on one day. The records do not mark these, so we mark them.
- Repeated rows: the same home, date and price more than once.
- Prices of AED 100,000 or less, and rows with no unit number.
- Land, whole buildings, offices and shops. We count apartments, hotel apartments, villas and townhouses.
In September 2026 we left out 31 homes in block deals. With them, the month has 757 sales. The page JVC market analysis counts sales with block deals.
Limits
- The date is the date of registration at the Dubai Land Department. The buyer and seller may have agreed the sale some weeks before.
- A month can still gain sales that are registered late. The figures for September 2026 may rise a little.
- Most off-plan sales are first sales by a developer. The count then follows launch dates as well as demand.
- A building needs only one sale to be on the chart. Low positions change a lot from month to month.
- The ranking shows how many homes sold. It does not show if a price is good or bad.

Which JVC building sold the most homes in September 2026?
Auresta tower sold the most. The Dubai Land Department sale records show 41 sales there in September 2026, worth AED 24,954,411.
How many homes sold in JVC in September 2026?
The records show 726 sales in 228 buildings. In August 2026 there were 693 sales. Block deals are not in these counts.
How is the position of a building decided?
We count the sales registered in the month. More sales give a higher position. When two buildings have the same number of sales, the higher total value ranks higher.
What do NEW and BACK mean in the ranking?
NEW means the building is on the chart for the first time since January 2025. BACK means it was on the chart before, but had no sale last month.
Can the figures for September 2026 still change?
Yes. Some sales are registered late, so a month can still gain sales. The positions may then change a little. We read the records to 10 October 2026.
Does a high position mean a building is a good place to buy?
No. The position shows only how many homes sold in one month. An off-plan building often ranks high after its launch. This page gives information. It is not advice.
